This summer Two Tails were approached by Broadwick Live to develop, produce and manage the children’s area for their music festival ‘Y Not’. Based in the Peak District Y Not Festival is a family oriented music event across 3 days. 40,000 visitors attend the event year on year due to the vast selection of music and activities available for all ages.
Two Tails used real imagination to bring the blank canvas children’s area to life. Creating an extensive and jam pack programme of children’s based craft activates ranging from ‘giant dream catcher workshops’ to ‘disco duck decorating and dancing’. Along with a very special guest appearance from Shaun the Sheep, making sure all of the guests learnt how to take part in the Vegetable Orchestra, much like the festivals headline acts!
Sadly, due to extreme weather conditions the event was cancelled a day early but that didn’t stop Two Tails and the team making the most of the 2 days we had in this very muddy field! Delivering smiles and joy to their smaller attendees.
