Two Tails Productions recently brought the magical world of Zog roaring to life with a playful and immersive nature trail at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst – and it was a soaring success!
Inspired by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s much-loved book, the trail took place during the October Half Term, 2025, and invited families to step straight into Zog’s world and become dragons-in-training themselves. Across seven interactive trail points, visitors were encouraged to flap their wings, practise their fiercest roars, breathe imaginary fire, and take part in a host of hands-on games designed to spark imagination and adventure.
Set against the natural backdrops of Kew Gardens and Wakehurst, the experience blended storytelling, movement, and outdoor exploration. Beautifully crafted wooden carvings of Zog dotted the trail, delighting visitors of all ages and providing perfect photo moments along the way. Each stop offered a new challenge or discovery, keeping young explorers engaged from start to finish.
Smiles, laughter, and dragon-sized enthusiasm filled the gardens throughout the run, making the event a memorable experience for all who attended. We’re thrilled with the response and proud to have helped create such a joyful, imaginative adventure that celebrated storytelling, play, and the magic of the outdoors.
