Two Tails Productions is thrilled to announce that two of its family brand experiences have been shortlisted for an award at the 2024 Licensing Awards.
‘Beano Goes Wild’ at Whipsnade Zoo and ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ Multi-Sensory Trail at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst both received a nomination for ‘Best Live Event’ at the prestigious awards, that honor excellence in the licensing industry.
Beano Goes Wild captivated visitors at Whipsnade Zoo from 22 July to 4 September 2023, as part of Beano’s 85th-anniversary celebrations. This event brought to life the mischievous spirit of Beano’s iconic characters, including Dennis, Gnasher, and Dangerous Dan. Families were immersed in a unique blend of fun and education, with activities such as Dennis’ Seed Catapults, Dangerous Dan’s Clean Up Mission, Harsha’s Trump Tunnel and a site wide Gnasher trail designed to inspire conservation awareness. Working with Whipsnade Zoo, we were able to seamlessly combine entertainment with a meaningful message about protecting the natural world.
Meanwhile, the We’re Going on a Bear Hunt Multi-Sensory Trails at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst invited families to step into the pages of the cherished children’s book during autumn 2023. Visitors embarked on an adventure filled with immersive installations and hands-on activities, navigating grassy fields, rivers, and a face-to-face meeting with the bear, just like in the story. The trails offered a magical experience for young explorers, fostering a love for nature and storytelling in stunning outdoor settings.
These nominations are a testament to Two Tails Productions’ dedication to creating immersive, family-friendly events that entertain and inspire. With the Licensing Awards set to take place later this year, Two Tails Productions is honoured to be recognised alongside the industry’s best.
